Blickling Hall is a great Jacobean country house, and it boasts perhaps the finest series of decorative plaster ceilings from that time. Blickling was the seat of the Boleyn, Hobart and latterly, Kerr families.

Elsing Hall is a privately owned house. It is a moated Medieval manor house that started out in 1470. It was later restored by Thomas Jekyll in 1852. The gardens around the house are famous for their beauty, and have been largely recreated by the current owners.
